Zombo's Mondo Record Party
Airing every Sunday night, from 11 to 12, on 91.3 FM WAPS. Zombo's Mondo Record Party is a nutty hodge-podge of space age pop, fiery Latin mambos, spaghetti western ballads, demented rockabilly, wild surf instrumentals, and the finest in classic and contemporary lounge music. Host Michael "Zombo" Devine also welcomes listener participation. For example, one week, he hosted the a "Call In" show, in which listeners phone in and play their music over the line, which is patched into the studio soundboard - thus gracing the airwaves with samples from their own private collections.
