In early 1996, Joesph Holmes' Space Age Bachelor Pad Music site started a poll to find out what was on the minds of hipsters worldwide. He was looking for Favorite Re-issue label, Favorite Artist, Favorite Album, and Favorite Song. Joesph retired in December of 1996 and Vik acquired SABPM.
